Earlier this year, the ResorTime community voted for Pacific Cancer Fitness to receive a $2,500 beCause Destination Matters donation. The non-profit provides cancer patients and survivors with personalized fitness and nutrition programs, significantly reducing their risk of recurrence while accommodating any unique physical limitations.

Here’s the video of us surprising Susan Webster, founder of Pacific Cancer Fitness, and a group of clients with the $2,500 check.

Susan wrote us afterwards to share the impact the donation would have in the community. Here’s what she said.

“I just wanted to let you know that with the check from ResorTime, Pacific Cancer Fitness will be able to provide 31 cancer patients and survivors with scholarships for lifestyle education, physical fitness, nutritional counseling, and community support. These services will be offered at Tri-City Wellness Center, which gives our clients the additional benefits of warm water exercise pools, yoga facilities, stretching areas, group exercise rooms, places to gather and talk, and community rooms for guest speakers and support groups.”
