San Jacinto State Park offers 54 miles of hiking trails covering 14,000 acres os California wilderness. Start your decent from Mountain Station and wind your way down to Long Valley for a picnic. While at the Mountain Station, pick up some information on Guided Nature Walks to learn about the nature around you. Guided Walks are offered Memorial Day through Labor Day. In the winter the park is is perfect for family snow fun. Head to the Winter Adventure Center to rent cross-country skis or snowshoes and set out for an adventure.
Of course, Palm Springs is known for the many golf courses with some of the most spectacular views to be found on the green. spend the day on courses designed by Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, Pete Dye and Greg Norman.
