Local AreaThe Steamboat Springs ski area covers almost 3,000 acres across a range of six peaks. With 20 lifts, 142 trails, three terrain parks and 3,668 feet of vertical rise, this is truly a skiier's paradise. For those who don't ski, ice skating, snowmobiling and sleigh rides are great ways to enjoy the snow and the breathtaking views. Once the snow begins to melt, the area becomes the perfect locale for river rafting, fly-fishing, mountain biking and hiking.
The Resort
Steamboat Springs is in the middle of it all with downhill skiing, fishing, horseback riding, hot springs, river rafting and tubing all within 2 miles of your condo. while at the resort enjoy the indoor and outdoor pools, outdoor hot tub and fire pit tub, steam room and sauna. Enjoy the view from your private balcony or terrace- some units even have a private hot tub on your deck! There is also a picnic and barbeque area, game room and fitness center on-site.
Nearby Attractions
Among serious skiiers, Steamboat has earned it's reputation for varied terrain and top-notch runs. The Steamboat Ski Touring Center offers 30 kilometers of cross-country skiing trails.
Strawberry Park Hot Springs is just a few minutes away from the resort if you are looking to relax and rejuvenate after a day on the slopes. This 40-acres facility is open until 10:30pm Sunday-Thursday and until midnight on Friday and Saturday. For a family friendly experience check out the Old Town Hot Springs at the foot of downtown featuring hot springs pools, a waterslide, and an on-site massage therapist.
Visit the Tread of Pioneers Museum, a 1908 Queen Anne style home filled with ranching, mining and pioneer artifacts and exhibits.
