Mia & Pia's Pizzeria & Brewhouse
Mia & Pia's Pizzeria & Brewhouse, Southern Oregon's favorite pub, is located in the southern suburbs of what used to be called Linkville, is the area's first and finest micro brewery and pizza restaurant. There are many styles of our own personal-recipe beer on tap for the discerning palate. We have a great menu of pizza, chicken, chips, and sandwiches in our restaurant. Our fine beers are well suited to sip along with our famous entrees and snacks. We are a family restaurant and encourage kids as well as parents to come on down and be entertained by our old western style atmosphere.
Train Mountain Railroad Museum
Train Mountain Railroad Museum is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of our railroad heritage. It is located in Southern Oregon on over 2000 acres of Ponderosa Pine forest in Klamath County, the home of Crater Lake National Park. Train Mountain currently has 69,900 feet (13¼ miles) of 7½″ gauge mainline track and 133,250 feet (25¼ miles) of total trackage, which includes yards, sidings, and connector tracks. In the 2004 Guinness World Records™ Train Mountain is recognized as the "Longest Miniature Hobby Railroad".
Lava Beds National Monument
Lava Beds National Monument is a land of turmoil, both geological and historical. Over the last half-million years, volcanic eruptions on the Medicine Lake shield volcano have created a rugged landscape dotted with diverse volcanic features. More than 700 caves, Native American rock art sites, historic battlefields and campsites, and a high desert wilderness experience await you!
Oregon Shakespeare Festival
The mission of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival is to create fresh and bold interpretations of classic and contemporary plays in repertory, shaped by the diversity of our American culture, using Shakespeare as our standard and inspiration. We envision the Oregon Shakespeare Festival as a creative environment where artists and audiences from around the world know they can explore opportunities for transformational experiences through the power of theatre.
Crater Lake National Park
Welcome to the Crater Lake National Park This site is dedicated to providing information on Crater Lake National Park It is our intent to provide information that will be timely and of assistance in planning a trip, vacation or obtaining data about this park. The Klamaths revered the lake and the surrounding area, keeping it undiscovered by white explorers until 1853. That year, on June 12, three gold prospectors, John Wesley Hillman, Henry Klippel, and Isaac Skeeters, came upon a long, sloping mountain. Upon reaching its highest point, a huge, awe-inspiring lake was visible.
Rogue Klamath River Adventures
Established in 1972, we have over 30 years of rafting experience. Some of our guides were among the very first to navigate the waters of the Rogue and Klamath rivers. They know the rivers inside and out and they are well trained in providing our clients with the safest and most enjoyable river experience possible. Our guides have run both the Rogue and Klamath rivers an average of 300 times! Our equipment is state-of-the-art and selected to ensure your safety and comfort.
Volcanic Legacy Scenic Byway
Along the 500 mile journey from volcano to volcano, you will find opportunities for adventure, exploration, communion with nature and an appreciation for the culture and history of the region. You will also find residents eager to share the beauty and mystery of this land that is dotted with evidence of an eruptive past. The southern end of the byway begins at California's Lake Almanor, just miles from the active geothermal features at Lassen Volcanic National Park.
Winema National Forest
The 1.1-million acre Winema National Forest is located within Klamath County in south central Oregon on the eastern slopes of the Cascade Mountain Range. The Winema isn't necessarily what you'd expect from an Oregon forest - contrary to Oregon's reputation for rain, the area is best known for clear skies and sunshine. Twenty-two miles of the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail run through the forest. The Forest borders Crater Lake National Park near the crest of the Cascades and stretches eastward into the Klamath River Basin.
Wildlife Safari
Welcome to Wildlife Safari, providing UNCAGED ADVENTURE since 1972. Located in Winston, Oregon just 6 miles south of Roseburg, Wildlife Safari is a unique zoo experience in Southwest Oregon.
