Darryl Starbird's National Rod & Custom Cars
The National Rod & Custom Car Hall of Fame Museum is the only institution in the world dedicated to the preservation and display of classic Hot Rods and Custom Cars while honoring the vision, craftsmanship and tenacity of the men who built them.
Har-Ber Village Antique Museum
Har-Ber Village is one of the largest antique museums in the United States, located on the shores of Grand Lake O' The Cherokees in Grove, Oklahoma. Built as a gift to the public from Harvey and Bernice Jones, Har-Ber Village is a reconstructed turn-of-the century village of over one hundred buildings and collections. Har-Ber Village is a place from which dreams are made. There is something to see and enjoy for people of all ages. From March thru November of each year approximately one-half million tourists visit buildings and displays containing a multitude of American antiques.
Lendonwood Gardens
Come stroll through Lendonwood Gardens, a six-acre botanical garden near Grand Lake in northeastern Oklahoma. Grassy pathways meander through more than 1,200 different types of plants, including the largest collection of rhododendrons in the Southwest, 500 varieties of daylilies, and 25 varieties of dogwoods. Come see a constantly changing panorama of color and texture at Lendonwood Gardens!
Will Rogers Memorial Museum
The 16,652 square-foot, nine-gallery museum was built of fossilized limestone quarried nearby. Opened in 1938, the main building was financed by a $200,000 appropriation by the Oklahoma Legislature. The east wing was added in 1982 using additional legislative appropriations. During the 1990-95 period, the entire museum was remodeled with $3 million of private and public funds. The museum frames the family tomb in the sunken garden. Spread across the southern horizon is the Tiawah Valley.
Tulsa Zoo & Living Museum
The Tulsa Zoo & Living Museum offers a variety of educational activities and workshops throughout the year. Interactive displays, including The Living Reef and Nature's Attic, are just part of the fun. An auditorium is utilized for workshops and seminars while a large, airy Docent center provides a home for the many animals - including Oscar, the Blue & Gold Macaw - which are used in programs presented on-site and in the surrounding community.

The University of Tulsa
The University of Tulsa was originally the Presbyterian School for Indian Girls, founded in Muskogee in 1882 and chartered as Henry Kendall College in 1894. The school moved to Tulsa in 1907 and became The University of Tulsa in 1921. The university celebrated its centennial in 1994. The University of Tulsa is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA) and is one of the Presbyterian Church’s largest doctoral degree granting institutions of higher education. With an average class size of 19 and a student-faculty ratio of 11-1, The University of Tulsa provides a very personal education.
Tulsa Opera
Long before the passion for opera ignited the concept of Tulsa Opera in 1948 with founders Bess Gowans, Beryl Bliss, Mary Helen Markham, and Ione and Ralph Sassano, the desire for this art form in “Tulsey Town” was glowing in the heart of city founders. L. J. Martin, president of the Commercial Club in 1905 claimed that “Of course, we did not have any sewers, street paving, parks or sidewalks and not much of a water system, but these facilities were luxuries and could wait, whereas an opera house loomed as an immediate necessity.”
